The Chemist Warehouse brand has a massive presence, with just under 300 stores Australia wide. Being a National Retailer from humble beginnings, it was no surprise that opening a store in Melbourne’s CBD was going to be a big deal. The Bourke Street opening was communicated with a unique advertising campaign to create buzz around this new retail venture in the heart of Melbourne’s shopping district. We took inspiration from the Chemist Warehouse trademark colour palette of primary colours – yellow, red and blue – the Pop Art Style suddenly jumped to mind. It was only fitting to tie the campaign together with the tagline ‘Pop into Chemist Warehouse Bourke Street.’ This campaign came to life on Monday the 27th of July across Melbourne’s CBD adding a splash of yellow, red and blue across the Number 89 Tram, Adshels dotted down Elizabeth Street and the Digital Billboards lighting up the façade of Young and Jackson.
